Century Micro, a leading Japanese storage equipment manufacturer, recently announced the launch of a new DDR4 memory module with a native rate of 3,200 MHz.

How does Century Micro's ddr4-3200 memory module differ from other products on the market?

According to the report, although many hot memory packages are rated for extremely high speed, they usually stick to JEDEC's ddr4-2133 standard for compatibility reasons. Therefore, the user must manually configure the memory or enable XMP on the motherboard to achieve advertised speed.

Century Micro's product is plug-and-play, running at 3,200 MHz as long as you have a compatible motherboard. The new D4U3200 memory module will be released on July 7 and will work perfectly with the upcoming AMD Ryzen 3000 series processors.

Although Century Micro's D4U3200 memory does not require manual setup, CL timing leaves much to be desired.Century Micro set the timing to cl22-22-22-52, but fortunately the memory module ran at a voltage of 1.2v.

According to Century Micro, the D4U3200 USES micron's memory chip because it is the only manufacturer selling native ddr4-3200 DRAM components.
